Jim Wilson: A Biography

Jim was born September 20, 1945 in Jackson, Mississippi.
He was a military brat, and grew up all over the USA, and in Italy. He loved America deeply, and was very patriotic. I remember right after 9/11 happened, a post that Jim made out in the forums saying simply 'I want my country back'. A simple sentence that spoke volumes.

We all know Jim as the Guru of Internet Marketing and community creation, but did you know that he also was passionate about music, and spent time in his early years singing and performing? He enjoyed everything from Opera to Country Western. He was into writing, loved the outdoors, was a pilot, a rangemaster for rifle shooting, and volunteered hundreds of hours for Little League and for Boy Scouts of America.

His favorite role was as Nick's father, and he said the day Nick was born was "the proudest day of my life." He is survived by his wife Cathy, his son Nick, who is in high school , his mother Jane, his sister Judy, and his many real-life and on-line friends.
